PlayStation All-stars Battle Royale is a brawl on the PlayStation 3 system like nothing that has come before it. From Kratos to Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth to PaRappa the Rapper, PlayStation characters from all over the gaming spectrum are brought together in a fighting adventure that's both easy to play, and hard to master. Gears 3 Horde Mode

You'll want to eventually buy other posts as well, but not until the later rounds. High-ground locations with good views of the battlefield and few points of entry are the ideal you're looking for. Also look for the map's most powerful weapon spawns  stuff like the One-Shot and the Hammer of Dawn  as these are also often good locations to defend from. Gears of War 3 improved upon the Horde Mode of Gears 2 with not only the boss waves, but also the addition of Command Centers and Fortifications that are bought, repaired, and upgraded with the money earned from killing off the Locust/Lambent. Do not buy anything until level 11 for the first ten levels, you should not need fortifications, turrets or decoys. Save your money for when the tough stuff comes.Mulcher Try to grab the mulcher whenever possible. What it lacks in accuracy and mobility, it makes up for in sheer destruction. Park one of these next to an entrance to your base and don’t waste them on tickers or drones.

So I bought these cog tags not expecting much more than a cheap rip off of the ones from the Gears of War game. I was quite mistaken. These tags are made of an extremly durable metal and definately have the weight to prove it. As a side note- the chain on which the cogs are strung is very long and the cogs hang down around the solar plexus area. If you want something that to just wear around as a necklace, this probably isnt the right choice, but if you want some badass tags, then these are great. Horde Command Pack

The Horde Command Pack brings upgrades for those who enjoy the Horde mode that will help provide some assistance in your fight against the Locust. This command center, which is described as a panic button of sorts is unlocked when the player has upgraded their turrets to the maximum level and it also can be upgraded. The command center starts at level one with snipers, the second level is mortar strikes, and finally call in multiple hammers of dawn. The next major update to horde mode is the upgraded decoy which will turn into a computer controlled Onyx Guard that will assist you in battle. The third update is the sentry is equipped with fire bolts to help weaken Beserkers. If you think that the sentry won’t be able to finish the job, then upgrade the Silverback to equip it with rockets to explode the Locust scum into bits.

Gears of War 3 tips

Gears of War 3 is a game of limited resources; you won’t have enough ammo to simply waste those bullets and get to your hotshots. To gain an edge with the active reload follow these rules:
 1. Hold off on reloading for as long as possible- Drain that clip as much as you can. When you do reload, you’ll get more hotshots and have less cool ones to burn through before they fire.
2. Don’t reload until you have a target- That way you can start firing those hotshots before they cool.
3. Ace that freaking reload- If you’re going to run around with your guns nearly empty, you have to be ready for an active reload at anytime. Reloading in Gears is quick, and the boosted damage from acing it will more than make up for your slight delay in firing. However, if you bungle the reload, you will be meat.
