Black Tusk Studios

The next Gears of War game from Black Tusk Studios is still in the concept and prototyping stage, according to studio manager Rod Fergusson.Nintendo has nothing to talk about and will only host an array of playable demos. These include titles for Wii U as well as 3DS including Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8, Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate and The Legend of Zelda: Shard of Nightmare.Epic has continued to develop the Unreal Engine technology which has over the past 15 years, powered hundreds of games on a staggering array of platforms. But for the better part of the past decade, the series has remained dormant as the company focused on titles like Gears of War, Infinity Blade and Bulletstorm. The last game in the Unreal series was 2007's Unreal Tournament 3.

The original Gears of War

The original Gears of War is still one of the best games I’ve ever experienced with a fantastic single player campaign and a hugely addictive multiplayer. However each iteration after that has been worse and worse with the single player campaigns really failing on the boss fights and the multiplayer moving more towards fast based action and run and gun instead of the tactical shooter that the first gears was.
And then while I enjoyed the single player of Judgement the decision to remove locusts from the multiplayer was mind boggling and unsurprisingly did not go down well.
So what can Black Tusk do to take the game back to its roots?
Well here is my simple wish list, let me know if you agree or not.
•Slow the multiplayer down.
•Large health bars and tactics to win
•Make sure that sniper still exists but is difficult to use and slow to reload
•Bring back Active Reload, seriously why was this taken out?
•Avoid vehicle battles, Gears of War is close and gory
•The story shouldn’t focus on Marcus, Dom and Cole
◦We need a new team playing through the same timeline as before and intersecting the original story
◦Lambents and Locusts are enough we don’t need new enemies. Just different versions
•Single player to follow the Call of Duty idea. Short missions with great fights
•Vastly improved boss battles

Xbox One

To gamers, Xbox means cutting-edge adventures such as "Halo" and "Gears of War," and well as the brand that brought online competition to the masses through Xbox Live. But Microsoft wants you to think of Xbox One as more than a game machine. You can use it to watch movies on Netflix and Hulu Plus. You can hook it up to your cable box to watch live TV. You can Skype your grandma and share family photos through the SkyDrive storage service.Still, if you're considering buying an Xbox One this week, you probably have one thing in mind: games.

PlayStation All-stars Battle Royale

PlayStation All-stars Battle Royale is a brawl on the PlayStation 3 system like nothing that has come before it. From Kratos to Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth to PaRappa the Rapper, PlayStation characters from all over the gaming spectrum are brought together in a fighting adventure that's both easy to play, and hard to master. The game plays out across static and interactive Sony themed environments, and features local multiplayer support as well as the ability to take the battle online for competitive multiplayer action. Just a few of the game environments include: Dreamscape (LittleBigPlanet), Sandover (Jak and Daxter), Hades (God of War), and Metropolis (Ratchet & Clank). As with previous models, the PlayStation 3 320GB system features an IBM "Cell" processor and a co-developed NVIDIA graphics processor that together allow the system to perform two trillion calculations per second. Yet the 320GB system manages to improve on this with its 45nm version of the processor, which although running at the same 60+nm speed as previous PS3 versions, uses less energy. This makes the unit's smaller size and quieter fan possible.
